The KaDeWe (Kaufhaus des Westens, or Department Store of the West) is a department store in Berlin which features premium and luxury goods. Founded by Adolf Jandorf, it opened March 27, 1907. Located on Tauentzienstrasse on Wittenbergplatz, in the Schöneberg borough, it is Germany's most famous department store.
