The Victory Column – with Victoria, goddess of victory – stands in the centre of the Tiergarten, on the Großer Stern, and stands as a monument to Prussian victories over Denmark, Austria and France. It originally stood on the former Königsplatz (Royal Square), but was relocated to Tiergarten to accommodate Nazi urban planning.
